Application Coordinator – Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) & Regulatory Reporting

Location: Johns Hopkins, 750 E. Pratt St., 5th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote; onsite 1–2 days/month, plus additional days for Go-Lives, weekends, and special projects. Must be located in Marylad, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, or Delaware. 

Overview

Supports the Epic Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) team by managing enhancement requests, configuring Epic, resolving production issues, and supporting inpatient clinical staff including Nursing, Respiratory, Dietary, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, configure, test, and implement Epic solutions.
  • Manage enhancement requests and Epic build changes.
  • Support live Epic environment through help desk ticket resolution.
  • Lead clinical workgroups, facilitate meetings, and manage follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders on workflow improvements.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, business, or related field.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of clinical, healthcare operations, or IT experience.
  • General understanding of healthcare workflows.

Certification

  • Must obtain Epic certification in assigned module(s) within 120 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic ClinDoc certification.
  • Epic implementation/installations experience.
  • Experience in large healthcare organizations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
  • Experience designing business or clinical workflows.

Salary Range: Minimum 33.91/hour - Maximum 59.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
