At Franciscan, the CDI Operations Solutions Business Partner triages incoming CDI issues and resolve those they can; escalating and following up on those that need additional resources. In this role you will assist CDI division leadership with managing projects, any concerns arising during daily operations and communicated by hospital leadership, medical staff, quality, and clinical hospital departments.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Act as an extension of CDI Division Management by serving as a liaison between CDI, Coding, Quality, HIM and Physician Advisors.
Serve as the initial go-to person and ensures follow-up is completed.
Triage, research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming inquiries.
Work with others as needed to resolve issues and implement solutions.
Promote and maintain standardization of the EHR and CDI workflows across the corporation.
Prioritize and follow up on division initiatives and tracking to help ensure efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree Clinical/Nursing, Health Information Management, Information Services, Informatics - Required
Bachelor's Degree Clinical/Nursing, Health Information Management, Information Services, Informatics - Preferred
3 years Franciscan experience in any of the following: Clinical Nursing, CDI, HIM/coding, HIM IS, Health Data analytics, Revenue Cycle IS, Informatics - Required
3 years RN, LPN, RHIA, or RHIT with clinical documentation integrity experience or IS support of clinical documentation integrity function - Required
5 years EHR experience - Required
1 year process improvement activities - Preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office - Required
Demonstrated initiative and professionalism, with a proactive, ambitious attitude and the confidence to ask questions to ensure accuracy and clarity - Required
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment - Required
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - State Licensing Board - Preferred
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required or
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) - Required
