As part of our COVE team, you’ll work in an in office, real time environment focused on elevating provider and operational experiences. The team monitors key trends and experience signals to help the business quickly detect opportunities to improve operations and remove friction. In this role, you’ll support daily monitoring workflows, contribute to analytical projects, and build foundational skills in detection, escalation, and data storytelling.

We’re seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented analyst to join our team and help elevate the provider experience with UnitedHealthcare through operational insights and strategic recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about turning data into action.

This is a hybrid role requiring an average of four (4) in office days per week working from the Minnetonka, MN location.

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze operational data, including provider feedback, contact patterns, claims metrics, authorization data, and performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and experience enhancement
Monitor and interpret dashboards, reports, and KPIs to detect trends and potential friction points across provider contact and operational journeys
Collaborate with teams across Provider Services, Claims, Clinical Operations, Network, Product, and other functions to drive improvements and resolve experience issues
Support intake and discovery for ad hoc analysis requests, help define scope, and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions
Present findings to senior leadership through clear, compelling narratives and visualizations
Track the impact of implemented recommendations and continuously refine approaches based on feedback and outcomes

Required Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, operations, or related analytical roles
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation
Basic SQL proficiency or willingness to learn
Intermediate PowerPoint skills with experience communicating recommendations
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large, complex datasets
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to real-time business needs
Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Reside in Minnesota and be able to work in the Minnetonka, MN office

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in provider operations, claims, prior authorization, credentialing, or provider servicing- ideally within healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
Experience analyzing multi-channel feedback (e.g., voice, digital interactions, surveys) in an operational context
Advanced Excel skills, including cleansing and structuring large datasets
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
