The Education Institute oversees Cleveland Clinic’s extensive training and education programs for a global community of healthcare professionals, including physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, health professions students and caregivers. As a Program Manager on our team, you will oversee and maintain initiatives related to an assigned program, focusing on developing systems and procedures that enhance patient care across Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will provide services to international trainees and staff in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing to innovative solutions that support organizational growth.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend requirements.

This position is primarily on-site, with the option for 1–2 remote days per week after a six-month period. During peak seasons, on-site presence may be required 4–5 days per week.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 
  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 
  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 
  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 
  • Manage case documentation and reporting through Terra Dotta (TD) case management and data systems.
  • Prepare and submit Labor Condition Applications (LCA) and maintain corresponding public access files in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Request and process departmental check payments related to Graduate Medical Education (GME) and staff visa cases.
  • Serve as an alternate Responsible Officer for the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program.
  • Serve as an alternate Training Program Liaison (TPL) with the ECFMG/Intealth Exchange Visitor Program.
  • Act as a liaison between the department, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage multiple priorities and coordinate visa and immigration projects in partnership with the Director for Visa and Immigration Services.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience
  • OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience
  • OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience 
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in a healthcare setting 
  • Experience with continuous improvement
  • Project and program management skills
  • Experience working in new systems and change management.
  • Visa and immigration experience

Physical Requirements:
