Position Summary
The Quality Program Coordinator provides leadership and coordination for assigned quality, clinical, operational, performance improvement, and strategic programs. The position plans, implements, monitors, and evaluates initiatives that support organizational priorities, quality outcomes, patient safety, regulatory readiness, operational performance, and community partnerships.
The coordinator works with leaders, physicians, caregivers, and internal and external stakeholders to manage program scope, timelines, resources, risks, data, education, communications, and sustainability. The role facilitates multidisciplinary teams and translates program goals into measurable, well-coordinated work.
The Quality Program Coordinator serves as the EASE Project Director and provides full-time leadership for grant implementation. The assignment is accountable for scope, budget, staffing, implementation, SAMHSA communication and approvals, data reporting, training, partnerships, risk management, and sustainability. The coordinator supervises grant-funded staff and coordinates the Opioid Stewardship Committee.

Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor's Degree - in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, nursing, social work, behavioral health, project management, quality management, or a related field - Required
Master's Degree in a related field - Preferred

Work Experience
Experience coordinating or leading complex healthcare, behavioral health, quality, operational, community health, or strategic initiatives - Required
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, program budgets, performance measures, and formal reporting requirements - Required
Experience with grant-funded programs, regulatory or compliance activities, or community partnerships - Preferred
Formal training or certification in project management, Lean, Six Sigma, or quality improvement - Preferred

Travel and Work Requirements
Ability to travel between organizational facilities and off-site partner locations as needed.

Strong program and project management skills.
Ability to interpret data, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate findings to varied audiences.
Clear written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build collaborative relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, and data management systems.

Essential Functions
Program Coordination and Leadership
Coordinate planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned programs and initiatives.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and performance measures.
Facilitate multidisciplinary teams, committees, and stakeholder groups.
Monitor progress, identify barriers and risks, and coordinate corrective actions.
Support transition of successful initiatives into sustainable operations.
Quality and Performance Improvement
Use established improvement methods to support quality, safety, and operational goals.
Analyze program data and identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practices and process changes.
Support regulatory readiness, accreditation, and continuous improvement activities.
Data Management and Reporting
Coordinate collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of program data.
Prepare dashboards, summaries, presentations, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain organized documentation of program activities, decisions, outcomes, and evidence of completion.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate meetings, advisory groups, committees, and partnerships.
Facilitate communication, decision tracking, and accountability for follow-up.
Training, Operations, and Resource Stewardship
Coordinate education, training, and adoption activities for assigned initiatives.
Monitor assigned budgets, resources, timelines, and deliverables with accountable leaders.
Support audits, program reviews, evaluations, and applicable compliance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
