Schedule Full Time - 40 hrs/week

What You'll Do

Serves as a liaison for the physician/nursing staff/ancillary departments to implement processing of the patient through the health care delivery system. Interfaces with patients, families, physicians and fellow employees. Performs Utilization and compliance review. The Lead Patient Care Coordinator will be asked to manage the department in the absence of the director, make independent decisions, manage staffing and coverage & be available weekends and evenings for ED staff questions. Acts as Preceptor for new employees.

Requirements:

Current Missouri license in a healthcare field

Three to five years hospital patient care experience.
