It’s an exciting time to join Napa County HHSA’s Behavioral Health Division. We’re improving how we support staff and strengthen the quality of care while putting new statewide reforms—CalAIM and BHSA—into action. These efforts focus on access and better outcomes for the people we serve.
The Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator is a supervisory role that leads a small team ensuring that services provided through Napa County Behavioral Health are appropriate, clearly documented, and meet Medi-Cal billing rules. You’ll supervise two UR Clinicians, review data and trends, and work closely with program and fiscal staff to make sure services and records are accurate and complete.
You’ll turn complex regulations into clear, useful guidance for staff, create training materials that make documentation easier, and look for ways to simplify processes so clinicians can focus more on client care.
This is a great opportunity to lead a high-performing, collaborative team, help staff succeed, and strengthen a behavioral health system that works better for both providers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time vacancy. The list established by this recruitment may also be used to fill current and future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies for up to one year.
