Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.
- This position's functions will include, but not be limited to, billing, coding, compliance representation, data analysis, department revenue analysis, documentation education, medical documentation review, EHR workgroups, special reports, and other assignments as they relate to the revenue cycle.
- Employee will maintain certification in CDEO while residing in the position.
- Review of Data and medical records to ensure compliant accuracy in documentation.
- Analysis of Records to identify comorbidities and major comorbidities across a variety of medical specialties.
- Working along CMS guidelines to meet value-based initiatives that enhance institutional integrity and revenue cycle management.
- Position is capable of a hybrid remote work schedule, on-site meetings will be required to meet with faculty and staff regarding recent projects.
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field plus three years of related administrative and technical experience OR a combination of education and/or years of experience in the area of specialization or closely related field to equal a minimum of 7 years.
