The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for collection and preparation of samples for pre-clinical research.

Essential Key Responsibilities:
Become proficient in the identification, retrieval, processing and data collection associated with archived biological samples for research that meet project specifications.
Maintain accurate records and proper documentation of project activities associated with all assigned studies.
Develop competency in properly de-identifing study samples and become knowledgeable in the appropriate transfer of study data in compliance with all federal regulations and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines.​
Gain and apply expertise in the interpretation and transcription of complex medical terminology associated with research biospecimen annotations.
Adhere to all relevant protocols and guidelines for sample handling, storage, and shipping of biological samples
Complete annual training programs within the required timeframe
Maintain strictest confidentiality
Comply with all state, federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manuals
Adhere to HIPAA, Safety and OSHA Regulations
Perform other duties as assigned

Education:
Bachelor's Degree required, BA/BS science-related degree preferred

Experience:
Experience working in laboratory or industry related fields
Experience working in pathology laboratories desired
Experience working in regulated environments with biological samples and processing
