Job Summary:
The Clinical Research Coordinator for Colorado Physician Health Program (CPHP), a community healthcare workforce program supports CPHP’s partner recruitment and engagement work across Mesa County and the Western Slope by coordinating outreach, scheduling key partner activities, and maintaining accurate partner tracking and documentation. The Clinical Research Coordinator will work closely with CPHP leadership and staff to move prospective organizations from initial contact through participation and early program activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Initiate outreach to prospective CPHP partner organizations using approved messaging and recruitment materials.

Manage the partner recruitment pipeline from first contact through engagement, documenting touchpoints and next steps.

Schedule, confirm, and coordinate partner Engagement Meetings (virtual and/or in-person), including logistics, reminders, and follow-up communications.

Support completion of CPHP Participation Agreements by providing instructions, coordinating routing/collection, and tracking status.

Identify and coordinate Key Informant Interview (KII) participants with partner organizations; schedule and confirm KIIs and manage rescheduling as needed.

Prepare and distribute pre-meeting/interview information (purpose, expectations, time estimates, and logistics) to participants.

Document outreach activities and outcomes in CPHP tracking systems, including LACRM, REDCap, SharePoint, and Excel, ensuring records are accurate and current.

Maintain working relationships with Regional Health Connectors and contracted community support organizations.

Respond to routine partner questions and route complex issues to appropriate CPHP staff for resolution.

Provide regular recruitment/pipeline status updates to CPHP leadership and flag barriers or stalled contacts for timely follow-up.

Coordinate logistics and presence for community events as needed to support recruitment and relationship-building.

Work Location:
Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Bachelor’s degree in any field
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.

One (1) year clinical research or related experience

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field

Two (2) years of clinical research or related experience

Experience in outreach, community engagement, partnership development, or program coordination (healthcare, education/training, workforce development, or community-based settings preferred).

Experience using tracking tools and shared platforms (CRM, spreadsheets, shared drives/databases) to maintain accurate, up-to-date records.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $54,302-$72,765 for full time. Salary range will be pro-rated for part-time.

The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
