Position Summary
The Clinical Support Coordinator (CSC) provides non-clinical administrative support to clinical teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient coordination of patient care activities. This role serves as a key partner to nurses, pharmacists, providers, and internal business partners by managing administrative workflows, maintaining patient records, coordinating documentation, and supporting therapy-related processes. The Clinical Support Coordinator is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential, as the Clinical Support Coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in healthcare administration, specialty pharmacy, or a clinical support environment preferred.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, care coordination, or a clinical support environment.
Experience supporting specialty therapies, infusion services, or complex patient care programs.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and an understanding of specialty pharmacy or infusion workflows.
Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare applications such as Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, and other clinical documentation platforms.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with quality assurance, documentation review, data tracking, and reporting.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute positively to organizational change initiatives.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
