compassionate world. A Day in the Life This role is part of the Global Supply
Management (GSM) Finance team within Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC).
The team partners closely with Supply Management leadership to provide financial
analysis, reporting, and decision support across material, capital, and cost

is part of the Global Supply Management (GSM) Finance team within Global
Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC). The team partners closely with Supply
Management leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision
support across material, capital, and cost management activities. Position
Summary The Finance Analyst supports the Supply Management organization, which
manages over $12B in annual direct and indirect material spend. The role
provides financial support to the Supply Management team, supporting month‑end
close, forecasting, capital processes, inflation analysis, and long‑term buy
(LTB) activities. This position delivers recurring financial analytics and
ad‑hoc decision support while developing a strong understanding of Medtronic’s
supply base and sourcing processes. Key Responsibilities Providing ongoing
financial support to GSM & GSM Finance team, communicating actual results, and
delivering financial guidance to project managers and sourcing leaders Support
capital processes, including preparation and submission of capital requests,
financial analysis, and coordination with business partners Analyze, monitor,
and report category‑level inflation, including clear communication of trends,
risks, and impacts to Finance and Supply Management leadership Provide
analytical support for Long‑Term Buy (LTB) activities, including tracking
exposure, summarizing financial impacts, and communicating risks and
opportunities Perform inflation and savings analysis leveraging Power BI
dashboards to support forecasting, AOP, and decision‑making Support month‑end
close activities, including preparation and analysis for Monthly Financial
Review (MFR) and Monthly Operating Review (MOR) Support Annual Operating Plan
(AOP) and forecast cycles through recurring analytics, reporting, and variance
analysis Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Management and Finance
stakeholders in a matrixed organization Required Qualifications Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field Preferred
Qualifications Internship, co‑op, or rotation experience in Finance, Supply
Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing Finance Strong financial, analytical, and
problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working
with large datasets Ability to clearly communicate financial information to
non‑finance stakeholders Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage
recurring deliverables and ad‑hoc requests Ability to work effectively in a
fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment Experience with forecasting, budgeting,
or capital processes Exposure to month‑end close, P&L reporting, or cost
analysis Experience using Power BI or financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP,
Hyperion) Interest in Global Operations, Supply Chain, or Supply Management
Finance Development & Exposure This role provides exposure to GOSC financial
results, sourcing and inflation dynamics, capital investment decision‑making,
and cross‑functional business partnering. The position builds foundational
knowledge of Medtronic’s financial planning, reporting, and governance processes
while developing business acumen within a global, matrixed organization. For
Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$69,600.00 - $104,400.00 This
position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive
Plan (MIP). in everything we do. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work.
We’re working a minimum of 4-5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to
fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as
we work together to engineer the extraordinary. No relocation assistance is
