IRT CLIENT PROGRAM SPECIALIST
The IRT Client Program Specialist is responsible for the supervision of adult felony offenders. Develops and implements a case plan and client's treatment programs contractually. Responsible for client orientation and referral services. Documents all client activities.
Supervises adult felony offenders.
Conducts risk assessment interviews.
Prepares IRT Progression Matrix case plans and chronological records on client's progress and/or concerns.
Coordinates, plan, and facilitate IRT client groups per program curriculum and in accordance with IRT contract.
Meets with client at least once a week to monitor progress in the program and to insure they are following the court-ordered conditions and for counseling, as needed.
Communicates effectively with courts, attorneys, probation officers and parole officers regarding client progress.
Completes intake paperwork for new clients, informs clients of rules and policies of ComCor, and verifies employment.
Maintains client's paper and electronic file for changes, releases, work schedule, treatment schedule, etc.Makes appropriate referrals for clients to obtain needed services.
Creates various reports to include termination, program reviews, client budgets etc.
Facilitates psychoeducational classes.
Conducts discharge planning with clients and referring agencies.
Conducts cognitive behavioral interventions.
Attend staffing to discuss client case plan needs.
Collaborates with service providers, referring agencies, and government agencies to provide client updates and obtain services for clients.

EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or a related field is required. Successful and relevant work experience combined with professional certifications and/or training requiring rigorous effort in the discipline of counseling or case management may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
