Become the Nursing Staffing Coordinator you always wanted to be

* Work with nursing leaders to identify improvements in effectiveness of
nursing department staffing.
* Assist and advise supervisors of any problems with nursing schedule.
* Ensure employee/contract/student files comply with Joint Commission and
regulatory standards.
* Provide scheduling of educational opportunities to nursing staff.
* Under CNO supervision, schedule, coordinate, and inform nursing staff of
their assigned schedule.
* Distribute nursing schedule in a timely manner.
* Advise supervisors of staffing ratio problems.
* Draft professional and appropriate letters e-mails, reports and
presentations.
* Maintains confidentiality of employee personal and financial data.

Qualifications

* High school education or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting is
preferred.
