Ensures that all demographic and insurance information is registered in an
accurate and timely manner. Prepares and coordinates the distribution of
patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments. Ensures
patients are pre-registered prior to their service date in an accurate and
timely manner. Monitors scheduling programs for patient appointments. Collects
patient co-payments. Works side by side with the clinical team in the emergency
room setting.
