Under the general direction of department leadership, the Patient Services
Specialist performs a variety of tasks related to patient scheduling,
pre-registration, and authorization/verification of benefits in a fast paced,
ever-changing environment. The Patient Services Specialist cultivates working
relationships between therapists, practitioners, and patients. All employees are
expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with
patients, families, staff, and visitors of the ministry, as well as being a
positive representative of the hospital at all times.

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this
position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other
applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional
compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
