Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Program Coordinator will provide day-to-day general supervision of operational and administrative management of the training programs (CNA/GNA, CMT, Phlebotomy, First Aid & CPR). This role ensures smooth execution of training cohorts, including student onboarding, scheduling, compliance tracking, clinical coordination support, and communication between instructors, clinical sites, and administrative leadership. The Program Director plays a critical role in maintaining program quality, regulatory compliance, and student progression through certification.
Duties/ Responsibilities Maintain responsibilities for the overall operation of the training programs.
Provides general supervision of the training of nursing assistants
Maintains responsibility for the overall operation of the program.
Coordinate all logistics for training programs.
Manage scheduling for classroom, lab, and clinical sessions.
Support scheduling and coordination of training programs.
Maintain accurate program calendars and cohort timelines.
Monitor and approve expenditures for training programs.
Purchase or approve the purchase of equipment and supplies needed by the staff and program.
Schedule program work, help coordinate program activities, and set priorities for managing the program.
Oversee student onboarding, enrollment tracking, and documentation.
Oversee clinical instructors.
Monitor attendance and notify leadership of attendance issues.
Serve as the primary point of contact for student questions and concerns.
Track student progress and completion status.
Coordinate clinical site scheduling in collaboration with the instructor and facility partners.
Ensure students meet clinical placement requirements.
Communicate with schedules and expectations to clinical partners as needed.
Support compliance with all clinical documentation requirements.
Maintain accurate and audit-ready student records.
Ensure all required paperwork is completed and properly filled.
Support compliance with Maryland CNA/GNA, CMT, Phlebotomy, and First Aid/CPR program requirements.
Assist with preparation for internal or regulatory audits.
Support RN instructors with administrative needs during active cohorts.
Coordinate materials, schedules, and student communications.
Assist with exam scheduling and distribution logistics.
Ensure smooth daily program execution to reduce instructor administrative burden.
Act as liaison between students, instructors, clinical partners, and leadership.
Provide timely updates on cohort status, risks, and operational issues.
Manage day-to-day communications and escalations.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements An active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse or a multistate licensure privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State;
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
Completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising nursing assistants.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or student management systems (Google Classroom)
Criminal Background Check

Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, or related degree
Experience in nursing home, healthcare, or educational settings
Knowledge of clinical scheduling or healthcare compliance processes
Familiarity with healthcare training programs (CNA/CMT/Phlebotomy) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
