Responsibilities
The Project Manager is the IT liaison for all capital moves and will coordinate and plan all IT requirements with the end user/customer for a particular office space or suite. Individual will be responsible for identifying up front requirements and solidify the scope of capital move projects. Coordinate Special System meetings to finalize IT special systems, obtain all estimated budget information and provide actuals upon completion of construction. Work directly with the Capital Projects team to support all IT initiatives and needs for departments, physicians, individuals, etc. This individual will be the voice to IT and provide a single point of communication for all IT needs within a space (including Clinical Engineering). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: obtaining drawings from architect for distribution amongst the IT resources, identifying up front requirements for a particular space, schedule special system meetings to flush out functionality and needs with users, develop estimated budget and track actuals against the project, perform frequent walkthrough of space to ensure project is progressing as planned. Attend SIG meetings to represent IT. Work directly with the Capital Projects team to ensure the IT process and communication is improving and flowing. Manage timelines and distribute information to IT representation to ensure projects are done on time. Individual will work closely with the multiple department heads/contacts to maintain schedule requirements and/or address and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Education and Work Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
BA or BS degree preferred preferably with an IT orientation
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in total
Minimum of 1 - 5 years experience in a project environment
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a project lead or project manager role
High proficiency with Office Software
Familiar with Project software and methodologies
