JOB DESCRIPTION: About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager, Critical Care to lead strategic marketing initiatives that drive growth and elevate the i-STAT System’s presence in U.S. hospital critical care environments. You’ll play a key role in launching new products, shaping brand strategy, and engaging customers in high-impact ways. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the Director of U.S. Marketing, offering the chance to influence product success and contribute to a fast-growing business with 35% domestic travel. What you will work on New Product Launches Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on launch plans, implementation support, and commercial execution Work across functions including Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and Global Marketing to establish advisory boards to build implementation standardization for new products Develop customer case studies to establish requirements for product conversions and implementations Develop value based selling narratives and access strategies Develop an in depth understanding of the product and competitors to differentiate product offering Create value propositions, positioning statements, messaging, and work with agencies to develop marketing concepts Develop core promotional materials, literature, sales aids, support materials, and sales training Work with Market Research to conduct primary and secondary market research to optimize product offering Build strong working relationships with Medical Affairs to derive publication and speaker strategies and contribute to KOL development On-Market Product Strategy Develop strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive and achieve growth targets in U.S. hospital critical care settings focusing on the APOC blood gas and coagulation assays Gather and synthesize information on customers, competitors, and the market from a range of formal and informal sources, share insights to shape and refine strategies Engage and motivate the sales force and other business functions while ensuring the marketing team has created & deployed the right tools, messaging and support to help them engage and recapture our lost customer targets as well as new business targets Drive brand-building actions, ensuring brand positioning is brought to life consistently in interactions with customers Lead marketing efforts for critical care meetings and conferences Develop and provide input to training materials, presentations, and participate in training activities Support marketing communications, Statements of Work, and HCP interactions Education and Experience you will bring Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering) 4+ years in healthcare marketing, sales, or technical roles (IVD or medical devices preferred) Clinical experience (e.g., laboratorian, perfusionist) highly valued Proven success in product launches and downstream marketing Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and drive results collaboratively Learn more about our benefits that add real value to your life to help you live fully: www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that provides the growth and strength to build your future.
