This position oversees the coordination of daily operations of Providence Alaska
Medical Center's Volunteer Services. Working closely with unit leaders and
caregivers to meet individual program needs the primary focus is on recruitment
and onboarding of new volunteers as well as ongoing support and retention. This
position is responsible for accurately maintaining PAMC volunteer records as
well as supporting other PHS&A facilities as needed in ensuring compliance with
all hospital, state and federal guidelines. Collaborates with volunteer services
team to deliver a high degree of hospitality and to offer ongoing education,
support and supervision to volunteers that fosters growth and development.

Required Qualifications:
* 2 years experience in program coordination, volunteer management, community
services coordination and/or human resource development.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Human Services, Human Resources, or related
field, or professional experience in related positions may be considered in
lieu of a degree.
* Upon hire: Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services (CAVS)
* Demonstrated competency in providing education and information to the general
public and healthcare professionals.
